Akustica recently rolled out the first HD Microphone, which is claimed to allow HD voice excellence in laptop PCs and other broadband mobile devices. The AKU2103 is a digital-output microphone including a reliable wideband frequency response. It is the first digital microphone to promise compliance with the TIA-920 audio performance need for wideband transmission in apps like Voiceover-Internet Protocol (VoIP).

A significant advantage of Akustica digital microphones is their imperviousness to RF (radio frequency) and EM (electromagnetic) hindrance, which enables placement in optimal acoustic locations despite proximity to displays, WiFi antenna or other sources of interference, which would mortify or disqualify utilization of usual microphones.

The surface-mountable Akustica AKU2103 HD Microphone is the 1st under mount digital microphone to make available a L/R-user select function that lets a sole device to be configured as either a left or a right microphone. This industry standard stereo output is given support by manifold HD Audio and universal serial bus USB) Audio CODECs.

Just few hours back I had talked about Parrot’s PMK5800 plug and play car kit, but today France’s Parrot, recently announced the launch of the “Party”, a light and digital tablets compact mobile wireless speaker with what looks to be a little striking audio technology built- in. With the help of Parrot Party Bluetooth speaker system, users can transmit their favorite tracks from any Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP) music.

With nothing but a pair of 3W speakers, your “party” will most possibly be a bit limited, though it at least does brags of providing support for A2DP to opt stereo audio from any well-suited Bluetooth source. The device, which is only 9 inches long and 22 ounces, is also handier than the twelve-pound Boombox, and it claims to draw off the tunes for a complete 4 hours on its integrated rechargeable battery. The Parrot Party Bluetooth speaker system is to be rolled out July with the price tag of 119€ or almost $160.

The world’s smallest piano has just been made public by the good old SEGA Toys. They released this ’smallest piano ever’ in the Japanese market.

They have christened it the ‘grand piano’, no wonder why as this marvel is proficient enough to play more than 100 preloaded songs. The price tag it carries would rather be a bit heavy on your pocket - $549. I am off to the markets, what about you?

The highly-regarded Ferguson Hill FH007 mini speaker system will get a designer companion very soon. The much awaited FH008 subwoofer from Ferguson Hill is on the way.

The FH008 is a worthy compliment to the subwoofer-less mini system. Though not much is known about the specifications of the new subwoofer, as per reports it sports a front-firing design.

In 2003 Ferguson Hill gave us the groundbreaking FHOO1, the world’s first ever front loaded horn dipole loudspeaker. Since then they have been creating bass systems and their newest project is the FH007 Mini Speaker System.
The subwoofer is packaged in a very cute container and we should expect the bass machine to be equally tantalising as the package.

The price is still not disclosed but an early April shipment is expected.
