The Boston based guitar maker, First Act, who already has prepared guitars for Henry Garza of Los Lonely Boys and Richard Nielsen of Cheap Trick, has come up with the Vex, a guitar with a built-in pre-amp, at the CES in Las Vegas, which will let you rock even without heaving a Peavey amp. Sound quality of the Vex is as good as company’s standard guitars, but the only missing thing is their custom wood-grained styling. First Act is selling the Vex for $600, but you may get it all free if you buy some particular models of cars from Volkswagen. Via: crave.cnet
